A stay on the island would also afford you the chance to soak yourself in the heated saltwater baths. There are several grottoes for you to discover where you are more than welcome to take a dip.

Take a walk down to the coast of the southern edge of Sensuijima and you will delight in the walkway (complete with guardrail) that wraps around the rock face, giving you the feeling that you are floating above the water.

There is a beach near the pension that is a great place for a stroll at any time of the day and at any time of the year. The summer season is naturally the ideal time for a swimming and sunbathing and you can do these activities near your accommodation.
